Deployment TrainingFamily Reintegration AcademyThe Family Reintegration Academy prepares family members for the homecoming of their Service Member and informs them what they can do to make the transition as easy as possible. This Academy is held approximately a month prior to the return of the Service Member. The academies have been established to increase the family member’s knowledge of the reintegration process and to provide resources to them as they go through the steps of reintegration. The one day event is for spouses, parents, children and significant others. The Service Member’s Family Readiness Groups FRG will alert family to the date. Family Assistance Centers (FAC)Minnesota National Guard Family Assistance Centers (FACs) offer one-stop assistance and referral support for individual families. There are many operational FACs located throughout Minnesota. The FAC does not replace the Family Readiness Groups FRG (FRG), as the FRG is an augmentation of the FAC.Community Outreach ProgramsAlong with state and federal professionals, the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon teams conduct Community Reintegration Training Seminars to educate Minnesota community leaders, employers, educators, and support groups on the civic concerns associated with reintegrating Minnesota Guard Veterans and what they can do to assist newly experienced Combat Service Members and their Families.More "Family and Service Member" pages: For Families and Service Members Pre-Deployment Training Reintregation Training Family Readiness Group Family Assistance Center Strong Bonds Family Events Please contact the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Family programs office with any questions at: familyprograms.mn@ng.army.mil.
