Full-Time Employment Opportunities in the Army / Air National Guard

Active Guard Reserve (AGR) and Federal Technicial Postions are announced on the USA Jobs Web site (external link) and the Minnesota National Guard website (external link).

The Army Reserve Employer Partnership

The Army Reserve Employer Partner Initiative (external link) (EPI) is a one-of-a-kind initiative designed to formalize the relationship between the Army Reserve and the private sector. Both of these entities share the common goals of strengthening the community, supporting Army Reserve Soliders and Families, and maintaining a strong economy.

Enable America

Enable America is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people with disabilities reenter the workforce and to educating the public. Enable America's (external link) Vetconnect program assists seriously wounded warriors in the recovery and rehabilitation process by providing mentoring and wellness programs as well as assisting with community reintegration and providing employment assistance.

Helmets to Hardhats

Helmets to Hardhats (external link) is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry. The program is administered by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment, and Veterans Employment and headquartered in Washington, D.C. Direction for management of the center comes from a board of trustees comprised of equal numbers of employer and labor trustees.

Troops to Truckers

Troops to Truckers (external link), one of several programs offered by Troop Transition, is a unique career transition program designed for the exclusive use of those who are serving in the United States Armed Forces. The program targets service members who are trained and experienced motor transport and logistics professionals who seek to transfer those skills to post-service civilian employment.

Troops to Roughnecks

Troops to Roughnecks (external link), a part of Troop Transition, is a unique career transition program for active duty military personnel. Offering accelerated training leading to highly valued oil industry certification, our program is offered exclusively to members of the United States Armed Forces. No prior experience is needed.

Hire A Hero

Hire A Hero (external link) is a non-profit initiative founded by the Armed Forces Support Foundation. The Armed Forces Support Foundation helps to keep the promise that military service has value and that those who serve our country deserve more than just a "thank you" for serving our country.
Hire A Hero brings together military job seekers and military friendly employers by utilizing web 2.0 networking features. Hire A Hero is a community for people who want to do more for the troops than put a yellow ribbon on their car. It allows people with a variety of backgrounds to participate in helping those with military experience find meaningful employment.

Landmark Destiny Group

Originally founded in 1997, Landmark Destiny Group (external link) is a niche job board focused on bringing transitioning military, former military, and spouses together with employers seeking employees with a military background.

To bring employers and military job seekers together, Landmark Destiny Group offers online job postings, resume search, educational opportunities, and access to a large affiliate network to include Navyseals.com, 101st Airborne Division Association, and Air Force Association to name a few.

Landmark Destiny Group provides ancillary services to job seekers like: resume generation, resume review, personality testing, a military-to-civilian job translator, and a series of military transition newsletters.
