Family Assistance Center

Print

The Family Assistance Center (FAC) was formed to assist families of Service Members with needs which arise while the Service Member is deployed. A FAC is an information source for a variety of services for the Service Member and their family before, during and following a deployment.

FACs have an important one-stop assistance and referral role for individual families. They are usually formed for major deployments. FACs provide linkages to Rear Detachment Command and the State Family Programs Office. Please contact any of the FAC's below by walking in, sending an e-mail or by phone.

What assistance will a FAC provide?
  • Primarily an information source
  • TRICARE assistance
  • DEERS information
  • Point of contact for Pay issues
  • Point of contact for legal issues
  • Financial counseling and training
  • Point of contact for community support
  • Emergency Assistance Coordination
  • Site for family communication
  • Support and mentorship for Family Readiness Groups
