Upon returning home from your deployment, you will need to become familiar with the benefits that you, as a Veteran, are eligible for. There are Federal and State Benefits that you need to be aware of. Many different resources and contacts are available to answer questions and/or any concerns that you (or your family members) may have.     Your military child can get a letter from the Governor and First Lady. The MDVA website will be open for families to request a letter signed by the Governor and First Lady for their military child, key word for the letter is 'Hero'.
