Our Military Kids

An organization whose purpose is to supply the families of deployed Servicemembers with funding so they can either start or continue extracurricular activities while parents are deployed. The grant of $500 covers youth sports, fine arts and tutorial programs, as well as activities such as beauty pageants and school trips. This is for youth ages three to 18 whose parents are deployed members of the National Guard or Reserve. 

Our Military Kids grants are now available to certain surviving dependents of Servicemembers from all branches and components.

Submit the application along with:

• A copy of the Title 10 deployment orders
• A form of identification for your child that proves dependency to the Servicemember (military identification, birth certificate or 1172 DEERS form)
• Contact and fee information for the activity of your choice (flyer, brochure, etc.)

Once Our Military Kids receives the application and supporting documents, a check is sent within 10 days, directly to the service provider of the activity.
